General info

•You may walk down the trail any time. There will be birding experts available, if you would like a Tour Guide.

•There is a new 0.9 mile section of the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail now open, heading north past the Train Depot.

•The 1902 Train Depot is open with train expert docents available to give you the history of the trains.

•Crafters and Exhibits will be in the new pavilion across the street from the Village Hall. Crafter's registration form is here.

•Restrooms and drinking fountains in the Village Hall are open during the day.

•Golf cart shuttles will cruise the trail and you may obtain a golf cart pass for a donation.

•The Village Hall will have Seminars, Silent Auction and Exhibits from 9a.m. to 3 p.m.

•Parking is behind the Village Hall or on the street.

Schedule

9 a.m. Golf cart rides begin and run every 15 minutes from the Pavilion

9 a.m. Walking birding tours begin at the Pavilion

9 a.m. Craft show and exhibit opens in Pavillion until 3:00 p.m.

9:00 a.m. Depot ( Railroad Street) opens for tours until 3:00 p.m.

8:30 a.m. Registration, Woodpecker Exhibits, Information and Silent Auction

9:00 a. m. Beginning Birding Seminar – Cal and Jean Lamoreaux

10:00 a.m. Terns and conservation outreach - Caleb Putnam

11:00 a.m. Nature Photography - Michael DeBoer

1:00 p.m. More Advanced Birding Seminar with Birding Aps

2:00 p.m. Nature Photography - Michael DeBoer

2:30 p.m. Silent Auction Closes

3:00 p.m. End of Festival
